The new 48 Cordova follows Clipper focus on a medium range Explorer cruiser which is complemented by elegant lines and gracious interiors. As all Clipper Cordova's from the smallest 45 to the big recently presented 60, the 48 has comfort on board high on its design with walk around decks, a large cockpit and expansive fly bridge. The 48 Cordova also has a choice of lower deck layout with a two or three cabins choice. The third guest cabin with two bunk berths replaces the second guest head as in the two cabin choice. This also means that whatever version one chooses the saloon living area on the main deck is unchanged. Powered by very modest twin Cummins 425hp engines, the 48 Cordova can cruise economically at 9 knots or a faster 18 knots before the harbour office is closed pace.
